- St.
Rose 8th graders ranked above the national average in both math and
reading on the Stanford 10 standardized tests in 2010.
- Students in the Class of 2011 were accepted to: Milton Academy, Malden
Catholic High School, Boston College High School, Pope John XXIII High
School, Matignon High School, Cristo Rey Boston, St. Clement High
School, St. Mary High School (Lynn), Bishop Fenwick High School, and
Trinity Catholic High School.
- St.
Rose middle school students came in 1st place for the wild card
round of the annual Malden Catholic Quiz Bowl in 2009.
- The
diverse student body at St. Rose gives students a strong sense of
appreciation for human differences- a value students carry with them for the
rest of their lives.
- St.
Rose meets students’ social and emotional needs with the
support of a guidance counselor through the City Connects in Catholic
Schools program at Boston College.
- St.
Rose supports students who struggle with reading and are residents of Chelsea through the Title I
program, which provides our school with a reading teacher.
